Enjoying the contrasting nature of life
by Linda Lee Sheldon on 01/28/13Here in Southern CA we have a winter weather pattern of extremes unique to our area. First we get the warm winds off the deserts to our east... then we get the cool, sometimes cold rains from the ocean to our west... followed by more dry winds... more rains... and the cycle continues. For me, the winds cause nerves to tense and the need for action (and a lot of moisturizer!). The rains bring relaxation and the desire to settle in with a warm cup of tea and reflect on life - the past and the future. Such is the circle of winter cycles. Such is the circle of life! There's an ebb and flow of activity and regeneration. I find it beneficial to go with the flow. All things change. Enjoy your winter hybernation!
